Thank You for Complaining.
The best thing you can ever get is actual communication from your customers, even if they’re complaining.
Publishing My Workout Music in hAudio
Note to self: start using hAudio.
No Ribbing, new record label launches today
Giving away digital music sure is popular these days.
SliceThePie Claims Will Finance More New UK Acts Than Major Labels In ‘08
Long tail etc etc.
Um, Whoops.
Mistakes happen; well done Dreamhost for having such refreshing candour and transparency.
Virtual Leopard Server Gets Legit
Nice to have, but I wonder what advantages a virtualised Mac OS X has over Linux in a server environment.
Amazon’s free shipping costing €1,000 per day in France
I find the whole concept of ‘breaking the law on purpose’ in cases like this quite intriguing. Good on Amazon for fighting for their customers.
The Macbook Air is Not a Sub-Notebook
Exactly; I just want a new 12” Powerbook, not a really thin MacBook.
MD038 – The Steve Jobs 90 Minute Keynote (in 60 Seconds)
Actually quite amusing.
Visualising Radio
I’m very impressed with a lot of the things the BBC Radio Labs are doing at the moment.
Creating amazing music blog experiences
Interesting, but I think using Adobe AIR is superfluous – HypeMachine does the same thing better without resorting to a Flash UI. It does utilise hAudio though, which is nice.
Because I Got HIG
Lots better now it doesn’t have to make up reasons to use Brushed Metal vs Normal Aqua.

Colly wins the inaugural Rant of the Week award.
CSS Gradient Text Effect
Nifty; and there was me thinking we’d come up with all the CSS techniques already.
Could the future of iTunes be digital software downloads?
I can’t see it not happening.
The Template Dilemma
Exactly what I’m battling with at the moment.
O2 Offers Napster For Free! Big Question: What Will People Pay For in the Future?
Sorry; how much was digital music worth again?
Yahoo Implements OpenID; Massive Win For The Project
This is great for OpenID; I still wonder whether anyone other then geeks will actually ‘get’ it.
BBC eyes Apple TV for iPlayer downloads
iPlayer on Apple TV would be pretty awesome.
How To Set an Apple Touch Icon for Any Site
Nice one, Drew.
Giant Animated Apple Ad on NY Times Front Page
It’s a nice ad, as ads go. I find it interesting that Apple (read: their agency) spends the time to make such creative online ads.
MySpace May Still Dominate in the U.S., But (Surprise!) Facebook is Catching Up Fast Worldwide
Facebook is catching up far quicker then I thought it would.
Paper airplane to be launched from International Space Station
Awesome.
.Mac: Future of a sleeping giant?
I like the idea of a remote home folder on .Mac, but I’m just not sure that Apple really wants to get into the hosted services game properly.
BBC Podcasts Browser prototype
More nice work from the BBC Radio Labs.
Hornall Anderson Blog
Nicest bit of Flash I’ve seen in a long time, although you could manage most of it in HTML/JS.
Leopard 10.5.2 update adds DVD sharing, better Stacks, translucent Menu bar and remote backup!
10.5.2 looks like a substantial feature update – TimeMachine backups to a remote disk will be very handy.
